State of the Climate in 2017

The State of the Climate Report is a recurring, annual 200+ page summary of weather and climate conditions of the past year. Working with contributing authors from about 60 countries around the world, this report places today's climate in historical context and provides perspectives on the extent to which the climate system varies and changes as well as the effect that climate is having on societies and the environment.
