Title and Description:

Status Review Report for 7 Giant Clams of the family Tridacninae

The status review document for 7 giant clams of the family Tridacninae, including Hippopus hippopus, H. porcellanus, Tridacna derasa, T. gigas, T. squamosa, T. squamosina (costata), and T. mbalavauna (tevoroa),will consist of a report explaining the best available information on the biology and status of the species as well as the species' risk of extinction throughout all or a significant portion of their ranges. The information in the review will be used to make 12-month finding determinations on whether listing any of the species is warranted or not warranted under the Endangered Species Act.
