Alabama Shad Biological Assessment

Description of information (subject and purpose): The information and data in the biological assessment for the Alabama shad (Alosa alabamae) will be used to inform the status of the species throughout its range and the subsequent Endangered Species Act listing decision.  The biological assessment contains information on the Alabama shad’s life history and threats.  We are seeking peer review on the contents of the biological assessments to ensure that it contains the best available information and data on the Alabama shad’s life history, threats to the continued existence of the species throughout its range, and the effects of ongoing conservation efforts.
