Title and Description:

Status Review for Endangered Species Act consideration of three angelshark species (Squatina aculeata, S. oculata, and S. squatina)

The status review for these three angelshark species will consist of a report explaining the best available information on the biology and status of these species as well as their respective risks of extinction throughout all or a significant portion of their ranges. The information in the review will be used to make a 12-month finding determination on whether listing these species is warranted or not warranted under the Endangered Species Act.
