Biological Opinion on the Effects of the Ocean Harvest of Salmon on Sacramento River Winter Run and Central Valley Spring Run Chinook Salmon ESUs
This biological opinion will evaluate the impacts of the ocean harvest of salmon on the Sacramento River winter run and Central Valley spring run chinook salmon ESUs. The biological opinion will analyze issues such as the level of take of these two ESA-listed ESUs during harvest of salmon in the ocean under the Federal Pacific Salmon Fishery Management Plan, and the impact of this level of take on the survival and recovery of these two ESUs.
