About the Program Management Office (PMO)

 

Welcome to the PMO!

 

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) /Office of the Chief Information Officer(CIO)/ Program Management Office (PMO) was created to centralize technical expertise, improve communication and collaboration, develop and implement best practice standards, provide greater visibility and transparency into IT investments, and provide exceptional customer relation services.

The PMO consists of two Divisions:

The PMO Enterprise Projects Division which manages the enterprise project portfolio and provides other project/program management services to NOAA corporate and line offices.

The PMO Telecommunications Division which procures enterprise telecommunications services for NOAA corporate and line offices and provides telephone support services to the Silver Spring campus.
