NOAA Infrastructure Operations Coordination Committee (IOCC)
IOCC Information:
The NOAA Infrastructure Operations Coordination Committee (IOCC) coordinates with appropriate subject matter experts as needed to:
- ·Support the goals and mission of NOAA as it relates to IT infrastructure operations
- Develop and coordinate implementation approaches to corporate enterprise-wide standards and solutions
- Increase collaboration and communication across Line and Staff Offices regarding IT infrastructure operations.
- Promote best practice standards in IT operations, configuration management, and change control prior to execution into application.
- Develop strategic alliances with other NOAA Committees, Department of Commerce (DoC)
- Notify the NOAA community of any IT operation changes that affect NOAA as an Enterprise via posting on the IOCC SharePoint Web site and the NOAA OCIO Infrastructure Operations Change Web site.
- Increase NOAA’s successes by providing and applying lessons learned.
